LANDLORD/TENANT
Community Mediation Services is working with local community agencies and courts to assist with Eviction Diversion Programs (EDP) and the newest Covid Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) programs.

You may receive a court order to call our office to schedule a Pre Trial Hearing. This is an opportunity for us to share the latest COVID Emergency Resources, Contact #'s and brief discussion of what is available. At that time, we may also discuss the expectations that both the landlord and tenant are looking for to resolve the Eviction or Landlord/Tenant Case.

In other Courts, you may receive an order to Mediate. This will give you an opportunity to have a neutral mediator assist both the landlord and tenant in conversations to make a plan to resolve the case. In the event, no agreement is reached you will at least had a better opportunity to understand what each party is expecting and wants to resolve the issue. There is no requirement to reach an agreement in mediation, however, you are asked to participate and be open to having a respectful conversation.
